The Corrective Discipline policy provides guidance to managers when culpable misconduct has occurred. While the Public Service has had a progressive discipline policy for many years, the policy was updated in 2011. 

The fundamental principles are unchanged, however, changes were made to update the policy's language and the structure. 

In addition, a Manager’s Handbook has been created and is available from the link below to assist managers in the process when disciplinary situations arise.
